MDD041A-N-100-N2K-050PA0
The MDD041A-N-100-N2K-050PA0 is a compact synchronous servo motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MDD Synchronous Motors series. Designed for use with digital drive controllers, it converts regulated current into rotary motion for small axes and auxiliary mechanisms in automated machinery. Its compact housing supports installation in multiaxis assemblies where stable speed control and accurate positioning are required. This makes it suitable for packaging, handling, and similar equipment that depends on repeatable motion in a compact footprint.
At standstill, the motor provides 0.64 Nm of continuous torque, which supports steady holding duty and low-speed operation within its thermal limits. During rated operation, the shaft reaches 10000 rpm, giving fast-response applications a broad speed range. The centering pilot measures 50 mm in diameter and helps align the motor concentrically with the mating machine surface. Power and feedback cables exit on Side A, and the unit uses a round Connector interface for attachment. Standard balancing helps reduce residual vibration, while the painted housing adds corrosion resistance. Motor size 041 with length code A gives a short stator stack suited to low-inertia starts.
For position sensing, the motor uses an Integrated absolute encoder, and the drive also receives Resolver feedback for motion control. The output shaft uses a keyway so couplings or pulleys can be secured against slip, and a shaft seal helps keep lubricant away from the bearing area. Because the motor is supplied without a blocking brake, the load must be held by external means when power is removed. The shaft is present only on the drive side, which avoids unnecessary overhang on the opposite end. A plug-in connection scheme is used instead of fixed leads, which helps keep cabinet wiring orderly.
