MDD041B-N-100-N2G-050GA1
The MDD041B-N-100-N2G-050GA1 synchronous motor is built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MDD Synchronous Motors series. Intended for direct connection to digital drive controllers, the unit converts commanded current into repeatable torque and speed for positioning tables, pick-and-place heads, and light conveyor axes. Its 041 frame size and B length code keep the envelope small, while the standard housing and dynamic rotor balancing allow installation inside compact machine frames without complex vibration isolation.
The motor delivers a continuous standstill torque of 1.35 Nm, allowing the axis to hold a load without exceeding thermal limits when stalled. Under rated drive voltage, it reaches a top operating speed of 10000 rpm, so high-cycle pick sequences can be executed without mechanical gearing. Position concentricity during mounting is guided by a 50 mm centering diameter that aligns the flange to the machine plate. Power and feedback are routed through a single connector, simplifying cable runs at the motor interface. Rotor position is reported through resolver feedback, giving analog sine-cosine signals that many Indramat drives can interpolate for smooth velocity loops.
All service points face side A, so the motor can be installed in tight spaces without rotating the stator body during wiring. A built-in blocking brake supplies 1.2 Nm of holding torque, keeping vertical or overhung loads stationary when the drive is disabled. The output shaft is a plain shaft machined to standard tolerances, and it includes a shaft seal that limits lubricant migration along the journal. The shaft seal also helps reduce contaminant entry at the shaft opening.
