MDD041C-N-100-N2G-050GB1
The MDD041C-N-100-N2G-050GB1 synchronous servo motor is built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the MDD Synchronous Motors series. Designed for pairing with digital drive controllers, the motor converts electrical commands into precise rotary motion for positioning or velocity loops in automated machinery. Its compact 041 frame and C length code provide a small footprint for packaging lines, pick-and-place axes, and other high-speed stations where rapid acceleration and deceleration are required.
The motor reaches a nominal speed of 10000 rpm, allowing short cycle times in light-load axes. At standstill, it can supply 2.05 Nm continuously, which supports steady holding or low-speed torque before additional cooling is needed. For emergency stops or power-off parking, the integrated blocking brake delivers 1.2 Nm, so a separate mechanical clamp is unnecessary for most vertical loads. Precise commutation is supported by resolver feedback, which provides analog sine-cosine position data to the drive. Mechanical alignment during installation is simplified by the 50 mm centering pilot, and cabling exits on side B through a molded connector that matches the MDD wiring harness.
To complement the electrical ratings, the motor incorporates a plain shaft that minimizes coupling runout and supports direct clamping hubs. A double-lip shaft seal at the front end blocks lubricants or dust from entering the stator cavity, helping the standard aluminum housing maintain the stated ingress protection for shop-floor environments. Standard balancing reduces residual vibration and eases bearing loads across the full speed range. The unit’s standard housing finish and the absence of a rear shaft end reduce overall mass while keeping thermal paths short. The sealed circular connector keeps the connection enclosed and supports straightforward cable attachment. The compact housing supports use in multi-axis assemblies where space is limited and fast motion is important.
