MDD041C-N-100-N2K-050FB1
Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the MDD041C-N-100-N2K-050FB1 as part of the MDD Synchronous Motors series. This motor for digital drive controllers supplies compact, high-speed rotary motion to automated tooling, positioning stages, and pick-and-place axes. It supports accurate velocity control where cycle time and product quality are critical. Its compact format also suits machines where axis spacing is limited.
The unit achieves a nominal speed of 10000 rpm, which lets the motor work with light gear trains without oversizing the drive. At standstill, it can deliver 2.05 Nm continuously, providing stable holding force for servo loops when the axis is stationary. A centering diameter of 50 mm aligns the flange precisely with machine frames and reduces radial runout. Power and feedback leads exit on Side B, which helps route cables away from the load side and keeps the working area clearer. A factory-installed blocking brake supplies 1.2 Nm of static torque to prevent drift when the drive is disabled. Standard dynamic balancing minimizes vibration at high speed, and the connector-based wiring interface simplifies cable connection. Resolver feedback supplies rotor position data with high noise immunity, supporting tight closed-loop control in electrically harsh environments.
The motor uses length code C in size 041, giving it a slim profile for crowded multi-axis assemblies. An integrated absolute encoder supports power-off position retention when the application requires stored position data. The rotor uses a plain shaft, making it compatible with clamp couplings and pulley hubs, and the shaft end is provided only on the drive side to save space on the non-drive face. This arrangement leaves more room around the rear face for nearby machine components. There is no shaft seal, so the motor is intended for clean, dry enclosures. Housing and balancing are both standard, and the connector style matches the cable format used across the series.
