MDD065A-N-060-N2L-095GR1
Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the MDD065A-N-060-N2L-095GR1 in its MDD Synchronous Motors series. The model is intended for use with digital drive controllers and converts commanded current into controlled rotary motion for indexing tables, pick-and-place axes, and other production equipment that benefits from high dynamic response and a compact footprint. It is suited to applications that require repeatable positioning and quick changes in speed. In closed-loop service, the motor responds to drive commands for acceleration, deceleration, and position holding during repeated production cycles. Its compact housing also fits machine axes where installation space is limited.
The rotor can reach a maximum speed of 6000 rpm, allowing short cycle times when paired with compatible inverter drives. At standstill, it delivers 0.8 Nm of continuous torque, which is suitable for light loads without overheating the windings. An integrated blocking brake provides a holding torque of 3.0 Nm, helping prevent drift when power is removed. Mechanical centering is supported by a 95 mm centering diameter so the flange aligns accurately with machine frames. All power and feedback lines exit on the right side, which can simplify routing when space is available on that face. Position data is returned through digital servo feedback (DSF), giving the drive controller rotor information for closed-loop operation. The motor uses a connector interface, has a plain shaft without a side-B extension, and dissipates heat through natural convection.
A dedicated shaft seal keeps lubricant inside the bearing region and helps block airborne contaminants from entering the enclosure. The motor uses size 065 with length code A, resulting in a compact envelope that fits narrow machinery columns. Dynamic balance is achieved to a standard grade so vibration remains within limits for high-speed service. The compact frame also leaves room for couplings and guards in tight machine sections.
