MDD065A-N-060-N2L-095PA1
The MDD065A-N-060-N2L-095PA1 is a synchronous servo motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and included in the MDD Synchronous Motors series. Designed for use with digital drive controllers, it converts electrical commands from the drive into mechanical rotation for positioning and speed control in automated machinery. The shaft end is provided only on the drive side, leaving space on the opposite side for the encoder assembly.
The motor develops a continuous standstill torque of 0.8 Nm, which is the steady load it can support without exceeding its thermal limit while the rotor is locked. During operation it can run at a nominal speed of 6000 rpm, which sets the baseline mechanical output for direct-drive axes or geared applications. For vertical axes or emergency stops, a blocking brake is included, and its braking element supplies 3.0 Nm of holding torque to keep the shaft fixed after power is removed. Mechanical alignment in housings or adapter plates is aided by the 95 mm centering diameter, which helps seat the motor concentrically relative to driven components. A shaft seal is fitted at the output end so the internal bearings remain protected from splash and dust during continuous duty.
The rotor is balanced to Standard grade, allowing the motor to run at rated speed without excessive vibration that could affect couplings or encoders. Feedback to the drive is provided by digital servo feedback (DSF), enabling precise position control across the speed range. Power and signal leads exit on Side A through a sealed circular connector rather than flying leads, which helps keep cable routing orderly. With a frame designation of 065 and the short A length code, the unit fits compact mounting envelopes while still housing internal bearings, a keyway shaft end, and a standard motor housing.
