MDD065A-N-060-N2M-095PR0
Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the MDD065A-N-060-N2M-095PR0 synchronous motor as part of the MDD Synchronous Motors series. This compact unit serves as a drive element for digital controllers, delivering precise rotary motion in pick-and-place stations, lightweight gantries, and packaging equipment. By converting regulated stator current into controlled mechanical torque, the motor fits easily into closed-loop axes where quick speed changes and accurate positioning are required. Its 65 mm frame size and A-length stack support installation in multi-axis assemblies where available space is limited.
At standstill, the motor can exert 0.8 Nm of continuous torque, which is suitable for holding or slowly indexing small mechanical loads without overheating. During dynamic operation, it reaches a nominal speed of 6000 rpm, making it suitable for high-throughput tasks that require rapid traverses. A centering shoulder diameter of 95 mm aligns the housing with mounting plates to promote concentric shaft rotation. Power and feedback leads exit on the right side so cable routing can remain on a single plane. Quick disconnect is supported because the interface uses a connector rather than fixed terminals. The rotor-shaft assembly uses a standard balancing grade to reduce vibration and support high-speed operation without excessive bearing load.
For installations that rely on drive torque to hold position, the unit is supplied without a blocking brake. A shaft seal helps prevent lubricants or fine dust from reaching the internal bearings when the motor operates in IP65 machine compartments. The built-in integrated multi-turn absolute encoder sends position data over the digital servo feedback channel to support homing-free startup and high-resolution control. A keyway shaft simplifies coupling to timing pulleys, and the housing dissipates heat through natural convection during operation.
