The MDD065B-N-040-N2M-095PL1 is a synchronous servo motor from Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the MDD Synchronous Motors series. Designed for use with digital drive controllers, it converts commanded current into precise rotary motion for indexing tables, packaging axes, and general factory automation. Built-in feedback devices support closed-loop velocity and position control while helping keep the motor package compact and the wiring layout straightforward. Its synchronous design lets the connected drive respond quickly to load changes during start, stop, and positioning moves.
At stall, the rotor can deliver a continuous torque of 1.5 Nm, which provides steady output during low-speed holding or creeping motion. The winding is optimized for a nominal speed of 4000 rpm, supporting moderate process speeds without pushing the feedback system beyond its normal operating range. A blocking brake is included, and it provides 3.0 Nm of holding torque when power is removed. Accurate mechanical alignment is supported by a centering diameter of 95 mm, which seats the flange concentrically on the mounting face. All power and feedback connectors exit on the left side, which helps when cables are routed along one edge of the machine. Motion data are returned to the drive through Digital servo feedback (DSF), allowing responsive current, speed, and position control.
The position channel is supplemented by an integrated multi-turn absolute encoder, so the controller can read true shaft position over multiple revolutions after power returns. A machined keyway on the standard shaft end provides a positive drive interface for couplings or pulleys, and the installed shaft seal helps limit the entry of dust or liquid along the journal. This shaft arrangement suits direct coupling to common transmission components used on servo-driven axes. Standard dynamic balancing keeps vibration within normal ISO limits during operation. The motor also uses the B-length housing format and a standard connector interface for the 065 frame.
