The Bosch Rexroth Indramat MDD065B-N-060-N2M-095GA0 is a digital synchronous servo motor. Powered by a drive controller, the motor operates in sync with the input current frequency. An integrated multiturn absolute encoder provides digital servo feedback after multiple shaft revolutions through a specific feedback cable to the drive controller. With a power socket located on the motor housing, its power and feedback connectors boast of an IP65 protection rating. The motor's 14mm diameter output shaft extends 30mm from the main housing. The motor, with a centering diameter of 95mm, lacks a blocking brake but possesses a standard housing design. Its cooling mechanism relies on natural convection and surface cooling, enhancing torque and current through airflow created by a cooling fan or blower. The motor optimally operates at ambient temperatures ranging 0-45°C while offering a nominal speed of 6000 RPM together with a rotor moment of inertia of 0.00022 kg m2.
