A digital AC servo motor, the MDD065C-N-040-N2L-095PA0, is a product of Bosch Rexroth’s MDD series. This industrially designed brushless servo motor utilizes grease-lubricated bearings throughout its operational lifespan, ensuring maintenance-free operation. It features a frame size of 065 with a length of C and requires a servo controller to supply power, obtainable via a separately ordered INS 252 power connector located on side A of the motor. The motor also handles feedback connections, ordered separately too. The MDD065C-N-040-N2L-095PA0 boasts a 14mm shaft, a 95mm centring diameter, and standard housing design. Efficient heat removal can be achieved through either natural convection or surface cooling. Operable in an ambient temperature range of 0-45°C and up to a 1000m site elevation, it has an IP65 protection class, a 4000 RPM speed rating, and lacks a blocking brake. The motor supports integrated digital servo feedback.
