MDD065C-N-040-N2M-095GL1
The MDD065C-N-040-N2M-095GL1 is an AC synchronous servo motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MDD Synchronous Motors series. It is intended for direct connection to digital drive controllers and supplies regulated rotary motion for indexers, pick-and-place axes, and other automated stations that need precise speed control. With an integrated multiturn absolute encoder and blocking brake, the unit is delivered as a complete rotary actuator for closed-loop operation in industrial automation. This arrangement keeps the motor, feedback system, and holding function in one compact package for machine axes that need accurate motion and controlled stopping.
At the mounting face, the motor carries a centering diameter of 95 mm, which helps keep the motor aligned with the driven machine frame. Rated operating speed reaches 4000 rpm, allowing fast cycle times while remaining within the thermal limits of the winding. Continuous stall torque is 2.1 Nm, so the motor can hold load at zero speed without overheating under normal ambient conditions. To secure a stationary load after power removal, the integrated brake supplies 3.0 Nm of holding torque. Feedback for commutation and position loops is transmitted through digital servo feedback, enabling the controller to restore absolute rotor angle immediately after a restart without requiring homing moves.
All power and signal conductors exit through a connector on the left side, simplifying cable routing when the drive cabinet is on the motor's right. Mechanical power is delivered through a plain shaft, and a shaft seal keeps lubricant in and contaminants out of the front bearing area. Rotor and bearing sets are produced to standard balancing, so additional counterweights are not required for rated-speed operation. The motor has frame size 065, C length, a standard housing, connector-style terminals, and no shaft end on side B.
