MDD065C-N-040-N2M-095GR1
The Bosch Rexroth Indramat MDD065C-N-040-N2M-095GR1 is a synchronous servo motor built for the MDD Synchronous Motors series. As a motor for digital drive controllers, it turns commanded current into precise rotation that supports positioning, indexing, and velocity control in automated cells. The unit uses the 065 frame with a C-length housing, along with standard balancing and a standard housing finish that fit compact mechanical layouts. It mounts to machinery through its centering pilot and connects to DDS controllers through a prefabricated hybrid cable, forming a closed-loop axis for packaging, assembly, and material-handling equipment.
The motor delivers a continuous standstill torque of 2.1 Nm, supplying the steady holding force needed for idle clamping or low-speed feed moves without overheating. During operation, it can reach a nominal speed of 4000 rpm, allowing fast cycles when commanded by the drive. An integrated blocking brake can apply up to 3.0 Nm of static torque to secure vertical or suspended loads when power is removed. Mounting is centered by a 95 mm pilot, and all power and feedback conductors exit on the right side, which can simplify cabinet routing when multiple axes share a common manifold plate. The connector-style power interface, fitted shaft seal, and standard single-ended shaft without a side B extension complete the mechanical layout while keeping the motor compact.
Position data is generated by an integrated multi-turn absolute encoder, and velocity control is closed through digital servo feedback (DSF), eliminating the need for external sensors. Power and signal reach the unit through a keyed connector, which provides a secure electrical interface for the motor leads. Torque is transmitted through a plain shaft, making the motor suitable for collet or clamp couplings, and the fitted shaft seal helps limit contaminant ingress during operation.
