MDD065D-N-040-N2L-095GL1
The MDD065D-N-040-N2L-095GL1 is a synchronous servo motor manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the MDD Synchronous Motors series. Intended for use with digital drive controllers, the unit provides closed-loop rotary motion for positioning and speed control in automated assembly systems, material-handling stations, and similar industrial axes. Its design combines integrated feedback, precise mechanical alignment, and a holding brake so commanded motion can be performed accurately and the shaft can remain secure when power is removed.
The motor’s nominal speed reaches 4000 rpm, allowing short cycle times on light to moderate loads. At standstill, it can exert a continuous torque of 2.7 Nm, which supports low-speed indexing and static load handling without overheating. When the axis is stopped, the blocking brake generates a holding torque of 3.0 Nm to resist back-driving on vertical or unbalanced mechanisms. Rotor position information is supplied through digital servo feedback (DSF), giving the drive controller the data needed for accurate commutation and position monitoring after power-up. A 95 mm centering diameter helps align the motor housing during installation, and power and encoder leads enter through a single molded connector that keeps cable routing compact and preserves shielding.
The rotor uses standard balancing, which helps the motor run smoothly across its operating speed range. Cables leave through a left-side connection, which is useful when several motors are mounted close together on the same machine bed. The motor is built in Size 065 with length code D, giving it a compact footprint for tightly spaced axes. A shaft seal works with the plain shaft end to limit contaminant entry and retain internal lubricant. The standard housing finish and single-connector layout keep the mechanical arrangement straightforward, and the motor has no side-B shaft end.
