MDD065D-N-040-N2L-095GR1
The MDD065D-N-040-N2L-095GR1 is a synchronous servo motor for digital drive controllers from Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the MDD Synchronous Motors series. It supplies commanded torque and speed to automated axes, supporting precise motion control in industrial equipment that requires repeatable positioning and stable speed regulation. The motor is intended for closed-loop operation with a matching digital drive, so commanded motion can be corrected continuously during acceleration, deceleration, and steady-state running. Its synchronous design also supports accurate response to changing control signals in packaging, handling, and general automation systems.
Mechanical alignment is achieved by a centering diameter of 95 mm, and the rotor uses standard balancing to reduce vibration during operation. Electrical power and feedback are routed through a connector mounted on the housing, allowing the cable run to be directed toward the control cabinet. The shaft end is standard without a side-B extension and uses a plain shaft. Under continuous excitation, the motor delivers 2.7 Nm at standstill and maintains synchronous rotation up to 4000 rpm. Position data returns to the drive through digital servo feedback (DSF) for closed-loop regulation. The motor uses frame size 065 with a D-length housing, which provides a longer active section than shorter versions in the same frame size.
For static load retention, the unit includes a blocking brake rated at 3.0 Nm. This brake holds the shaft when power is removed, which is useful on axes that must remain in position between moves. The connectors are placed on the right side of the motor housing, which can simplify cable routing when cabinet entry is on that side of the machine. A shaft seal helps protect the bearing area from coolant spray and fine particles during repeated duty cycles, supporting reliable operation in enclosed industrial environments.
