MDD071A-N-030-N2T-095PL2
The MDD071A-N-030-N2T-095PL2 synchronous motor is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the MDD Synchronous Motors series. As a motor for digital drive controllers, it delivers rotational power to axes that require coordinated motion under closed-loop control. The model combines a compact 071 frame with an A length code, giving the unit a short installation depth while retaining the mechanical interface used in the series. This layout supports servo applications where compact motor length is important but stable speed and position control are still required.
Bearing alignment is aided by a centering diameter of 95 mm, and all power and feedback plugs exit on the left side to simplify cable routing when the drive is mounted on that side of the cabinet. When the shaft is locked, the motor can produce a continuous stall torque of 2.2 Nm, so it can hold load at zero speed during steady operating conditions without overheating. Position and multi-turn data are delivered by the built-in integrated multi-turn absolute encoder, which eliminates homing moves after power cycling. Encoder signals are sent through digital servo feedback (DSF), so the companion controller receives high-resolution position information without analog conversion errors. Standard dynamic balancing helps reduce vibration during operation, and the housing uses the standard cooling arrangement for this motor type.
For static holding, the blocking brake provides 6.5 Nm of torque and is released electrically during motion. The rotor can reach a nominal speed of 3000 rpm, which suits servo systems that require fast axis response. A keyway shaft end transmits torque directly to pulleys or couplings, and a fitted shaft seal helps protect the internal bearings from coolant splash or dust. The motor uses connector-style termination instead of hard-wired cable glands. The shaft end on side B is omitted, which helps conserve space around the non-drive side. The standard motor housing dissipates heat without external fans.
