MDD071A-N-040-N2S-095GR0
The MDD071A-N-040-N2S-095GR0 is a synchronous servo motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the MDD Synchronous Motors series. Supplied for use with digital drive controllers, it converts controlled electrical power into rotary motion for positioning and speed-controlled axes in packaging machines, transfer systems, and other automated equipment. Integrated motor feedback lets the paired drive monitor rotor position and react quickly to load changes during operation. This supports repeatable positioning, stable speed regulation, and smooth response during frequent start-stop cycles.
At standstill, the motor delivers 2.2 Nm of continuous torque, which supports holding force and low-speed movement on compact axes. Its nominal speed of 4000 min⁻¹ provides a fast operating range for applications that need quick response without moving to a larger motor frame. The motor uses frame size 071 with length code A, keeping the housing compact while still providing useful thermal surface area. A centering shoulder of 95 mm helps align the flange accurately during installation. Standard dynamic balancing limits vibration, and the plain shaft is suited for clamped hubs or similar couplings. The compact geometry also helps where available mounting space is limited and nearby components must be placed close to the motor.
The motor-side connectors exit to the Right, which can simplify routing where cables need to stay clear of moving machine parts. Position data is returned through digital servo feedback, allowing the drive to close the control loop without an external feedback device. The motor comes without a blocking brake, so holding force during power-off conditions must be provided by the machine or by drive-generated torque when permitted. The shaft is supplied with a shaft seal, which helps limit the entry of fine dust and reduces lubricant migration at the shaft passage. The standard housing and the lack of a side-B shaft extension keep the overall motor length shorter for compact installations.
