MDD071A-N-060-N2S-095PA2
The MDD071A-N-060-N2S-095PA2 is a synchronous servo motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the MDD Synchronous Motors series. Classified as a motor for digital drive controllers, it converts regulated current from an inverter into mechanical rotation for pick-and-place arms, gantry axes, and compact machine tools. The model uses the series' standard housing and has a single shaft end, with no extension on side B, which simplifies mounting in tight machine spaces. This layout also leaves the rear of the motor clear where surrounding structures limit available installation depth.
A nominal speed of 6000 rpm lets the rotor follow high-frequency command changes from the drive. At standstill, the electromagnetic package can supply a continuous torque of 2.2 Nm, and a built-in blocking brake adds up to 6.5 Nm of holding torque when power is removed. The stator flange has a centering diameter of 95 mm for repeatable alignment to gearboxes or direct-drive loads. Power and feedback plugs are grouped on Side A and leave the housing through a premolded connector, which helps keep cable routing compact inside the machine frame. This connector arrangement also keeps the electrical interfaces concentrated on one end of the motor.
Feedback to the controller is provided through digital servo feedback, allowing high-resolution position correction without a separate encoder assembly. The mechanical footprint follows the 071 frame and short A length, which keeps the housing compact while leaving room for continuous thermal loading. A continuous grease-filled shaft seal protects the front bearing when coolant or cutting fluid is present. The output shaft uses a keyway so couplings can be be secured with a keyed hub. Internally, the rotor is finished to a standard balance class to help limit vibration during rapid acceleration and deceleration.
