MDD071A-N-060-N2T-095GL2
Bosch Rexroth Indramat builds the MDD071A-N-060-N2T-095GL2 in the MDD Synchronous Motors series. This compact permanent-magnet servo motor is intended for use with digital drive controllers, where it converts commanded current into precise rotary motion for positioning tasks on packaging lines, pick-and-place stations, and small gantries. Its compact format supports responsive motion control in automation equipment where accurate axis movement and limited installation space are both important.
The motor’s centering collar measures 95 mm, giving a repeatable reference surface for flange mounting to gearboxes or machine frames. During static operation, it can deliver 2.2 Nm of continuous holding torque, which helps keep an energized axis from drifting at standstill. A top speed of 6000 rpm allows rapid index moves without gear reduction. Rotor position is tracked by an integrated multi-turn absolute encoder, while velocity and torque loops close through digital servo feedback (DSF) exchanged with the controller. This feedback arrangement supports accurate position tracking and stable speed regulation during changing load conditions. Power and signal conductors exit on the left side of the stator, which suits machines with cabinet routing on that side and keeps cable runs compact.
An internal blocking brake supplies up to 6.5 Nm of retention torque when power is removed, helping hold vertical loads during emergency stops or power loss. All electrical terminations are handled through a single keyed connector, which keeps the interface compact and helps prevent incorrect cable orientation. The output shaft is a plain shaft without a key, making it suitable for clamp couplings or shrink-fit hubs, and the motor uses a shaft seal to help keep contaminants away from the bearing cavity. Standard dynamic balancing limits vibration at high speed, and the standard housing style allows natural convection cooling. With size 071 and motor length A, the unit remains compact while still providing enough active copper volume for moderate-power servo axes.
