MDD071B-N-030-N2S-095GR0
The MDD071B-N-030-N2S-095GR0 is a synchronous AC servo motor in the MDD Synchronous Motors series from Bosch Rexroth Indramat. It is intended to be paired with compatible digital drive controllers so that commanded current becomes regulated rotary motion. In automated assembly cells, packaging machines, and handling systems, the motor provides repeatable speed and position performance in a compact frame.
The motor delivers a continuous stall torque of 4.4 Nm, which means it can hold that torque continuously without exceeding its thermal limits while the rotor is locked. Once released, its rated mechanical speed reaches 3000 rpm, which sets the required output frequency from the inverter and the maximum linear rate when the shaft is coupled to a lead screw or belt. Mounting alignment is aided by a centering pilot of 95 mm diameter, which helps reduce runout. The shaft geometry is a plain shaft, so backlash-free clamping hubs can be used without a keyway. Rotor position is reported through digital servo feedback, allowing the controller to receive high-resolution position data for each electrical cycle and apply current promptly.
The motor uses standard balancing to limit vibration during operation. Leads exit on the right side, so cable sets can be routed parallel to the machine frame. Power and feedback share a single sealed connector, which reduces the number of enclosure penetrations. The motor is supplied without a blocking brake, so holding force must come from the drive or an external latch when power is off. A contact lip provides a shaft seal that helps limit lubricant migration and the ingress of coolants. The molded aluminum housing uses the series' standard cooling surface, and the B length code with the 071 frame size keeps the active stack short for tight axis envelopes.
