MDD071B-N-040-N2T-095GR0
Bosch Rexroth Indramat produces the MDD071B-N-040-N2T-095GR0 as part of the MDD Synchronous Motors series. This motor is designed for use with digital drive controllers so automated axes receive precise torque and speed commands in assembly cells, packaging machines, and other motion-control equipment. In closed-loop operation, the controller can regulate current and position while the motor supplies repeatable rotary motion to the load. Its compact 071 frame size allows installation in confined spaces, and the plain output shaft transfers rotary power directly to couplings or gear stages.
The motor delivers 4.4 Nm of continuous torque at standstill, which is the maximum steady load the stator windings can hold without thermal overload. During operation, the rotor can reach a nominal speed of 4000 rpm, which suits high-cycle positioning tasks. This operating speed supports quick indexing and short cycle times on axes that require rapid reversal. A centering register of 95 mm helps keep the motor concentric on machine plates and reduces runout. All power and feedback leads exit on the right side of the housing, which helps reduce cable loops in side-mounted installations. Contaminants are kept away from the front bearing because a shaft seal is fitted.
An integrated multiturn absolute encoder reports the exact rotor angle across multiple revolutions, and digital servo feedback (DSF) formatting sends high-resolution position data to the drive without intermediate converters. Because the encoder tracks position over multiple turns, the drive can retain shaft position information after power-up when the matching control system supports it. The output uses a plain shaft profile that omits keys for systems with clamp couplings. For holding duties, the motor is supplied without a blocking brake, so stationary torque must be provided by the external drive or by mechanical locks. The motor also has standard dynamic balancing, a B-length stator, a plug-style connector, and a molded aluminum housing.
