MDD071B-N-060-N2T-095GA1
The Bosch Rexroth Indramat MDD071B-N-060-N2T-095GA1 is a synchronous motor in the MDD Synchronous Motors series. It is intended for use with digital drive controllers in compact machines that require accurate rotary motion under closed-loop control. The size 071 stator frame and frame length B give the motor a compact footprint for light handling equipment and similar automation axes. It is used in printing lines, packaging tools, and pick-and-place gantries, where it converts inverter output into controlled mechanical torque for continuous duty or rapid indexing. Closed-loop operation helps the axis maintain stable speed and repeatable positioning as load conditions change during a production cycle.
The motor mounts to a machine flange with a centering diameter of 95 mm. Power and feedback conductors exit on Side A through a connector, which keeps the cable interface on one end of the housing. At stall, it delivers a continuous torque of 4.4 Nm without external cooling, and it reaches a nominal speed of 6000 rpm for high-throughput motion. Position and speed are measured by an integrated multi-turn absolute encoder, so the axis retains position data after power loss and can resume operation without a homing routine. This arrangement is useful where the motor is installed close to guards, slides, or other machine components that limit cable space.
The motor is equipped with a blocking brake that applies 3.0 Nm of holding torque when the drive is disabled. Command signals are processed through digital servo feedback (DSF), which keeps the inverter synchronized with the motor during closed-loop operation. A plain shaft on side A provides the mechanical output, while a shaft seal helps protect the shaft opening from contamination. Side B remains closed, and standard dynamic balancing supports smooth running in applications with frequent starts and stops. This layout also keeps the non-drive end compact and reduces exposed rotating parts.
