MDD071B-N-060-N2T-095GL1
The MDD071B-N-060-N2T-095GL1 is a synchronous servo motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the MDD Synchronous Motors series. It is supplied for use with digital drive controllers. In automated machinery such as packaging axes, pick-and-place modules, and material-handling stations, it converts controlled electrical power into rotary motion for positioning and speed-control tasks. Its servo design supports accurate starts, controlled acceleration, and repeatable stopping during cyclic motion.
At standstill, the motor can deliver a continuous torque of 4.4 Nm, enabling stable holding or low-speed feed without thermal overload. The rotor reaches a nominal speed of 6000 rpm, which supports quick indexing cycles. A blocking brake is fitted, and its retaining force is 3.0 Nm, so vertical loads stay locked when power is removed. Rotor position is measured by an integrated multi-turn absolute encoder, and the data are transmitted to the drive through digital servo feedback (DSF) for precise closed-loop control. The B-length stator package and size 071 laminations provide the required magnetic volume while keeping inertia moderate, and the assembly is dynamically balanced to the standard grade to reduce vibration during high-speed operation.
For mechanical integration, the flange provides a centering diameter of 95 mm, ensuring repeatable alignment with gearboxes or machine plates. Power and feedback lines exit on the left side through a sealed connector, which simplifies cable routing inside compact cabinets. The transmission interface is a plain shaft with a shaft seal that helps block lubricant ingress at the bearing seat. The seal works with the standard aluminum housing to protect the windings from dust and cutting fluid. Only one shaft end is present, so couplings attach exclusively on side A, and the absence of a secondary shaft keeps the overall length short.
