The Bosch Rexroth Indramat MDD090B-N-040-N2L-110GA2 is a digital servo motor offering real-time feedback on motor parameters such as speed and position from its built-in digital encoder. This data is relayed to an associated servo controller through a dedicated feedback cable, enabling appropriate output adjustments based on programmed values. Power supply is facilitated by a separate cable connected to a side A socket on the motor housing. Naturally convected cooling or surface cooling are provided, depending on load demands. At standstill, continuous torque of 7.2 Nm or 10.5 Nm and continuous current of 16.7 Amps or 24.3 Amps are achieved with natural convection or surface cooling, respectively. The servo motor features a plain shaft, an 11 Nm rated blocking brake, and a nominal speed of 4000 RPM. It sustains a longer thermal time constant with natural convection at 60 minutes, compared to 45 minutes with surface cooling.
