Bosch Rexroth's MDD090C-N-020-N2L-110PA1 is a digital AC servo motor that offers superior performance, particularly in high-speed cutting applications. Perfect for machine tools and robotics, these MDD motors are designed with an output shaft that has a keyway and a sealing ring to prevent any liquid penetration. With its IP 65-rated housing, this motor is protected against both dust and water sprays. The motor boasts a durable black prime cover that resists yellowing, weathering, and acid damage. Featuring a compact design, it's simple to install and offers a high power-to-weight ratio. It also benefits from a maintenance-free operation due to its brushless design and lifelong lubricated bearing. Its rotor, made from rare earth and iron oxide, provides low inertia and an optimal torque-inertia ratio. With an inbuilt thermal sensor, it prevents potential thermal overload damage. Powered by surface cooling and natural convection, it delivers a nominal speed of 2,000 rpm. The motor also incorporates a digital servo feedback encoder system.
