MDD090C-N-040-N2M-110GR1
The MDD090C-N-040-N2M-110GR1 is a synchronous servomotor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the MDD Synchronous Motors series. As a motor for digital drive controllers, it delivers commanded torque and speed profiles to support coordinated motion in material handling, printing, and assembly equipment. Its compact housing, plain shaft, and internal encoder allow direct coupling to loads while maintaining accurate electrical feedback for the drive. The model follows the size 090 frame and uses a standard housing for multi-axis machines.
During continuous standstill, the rotor can provide 10.4 Nm of torque, permitting static holding or low-speed tensioning without overheating. Under rated excitation, the rotor reaches 4000 rpm, which is the top running speed before back-EMF limits are encountered. A blocking brake is fitted, and it clamps the shaft with 6.5 Nm when power is removed so vertical loads remain secure. Position data is captured by an integrated multiturn absolute encoder, enabling the controller to recover the shaft angle after every restart without homing moves. Cabling is routed on the right side of the stator and terminated through a single connector, reducing panel depth and simplifying service loops.
A centering diameter of 110 mm allows the flange to seat squarely against machine frames, and the motor uses a standard balancing grade. Command and diagnostic signals are carried over digital servo feedback, matching the DSF interface used by compatible drives. Fluid ingress at the front bearing is minimized by a shaft seal, making the motor suitable for environments that include light coolant splash or airborne particles. The C length code provides additional stack height for higher output, and the plain shaft end without a side-B extension supports direct coupling through friction or collet hubs.
