The MDD112C-N-015-N2L-130GB3 is a compact synchronous servo motor, designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. It's integrated in rapid-response automation systems, serving several applications like robotics and textile machines. This servo motor is distinct for its resilient sealed housing with an IP 65 rating, ensuring safe function in harsh conditions. Its protective features include a thermal sensor in the stator winding and a robust design that guarantees lifelong lubrication, delivering long-term, maintenance-free operation. The motor includes an electrically released 60.0Nm holding brake for securing the servo axis when power is disconnected. The MDD model is equipped with a plain output shaft with a sealing ring, accommodating high radial loads, and is suitable for continuous start-stop operations with a high repetition rate. The low inertia rotor, composed of permanent magnet materials, has a moment of inertia of 170 x 10-4 kgm2 and a centering diameter of 130mm.
