The MDD115A-F-015-N2L-180GA2, a product of Bosch Rexroth Indramat, is a sophisticated digital AC motor from the MDD series. Weighing 33 kg with a typical 180 mm centering diameter, this motor uses digital servo feedback and standard speeds of 1500 rpm. Its plain shaft, equipped with a sealing ring, enables backlash-free torque transmission while preventing debris or water spray intrusion during operation. The motor, designed with B5 type features, comes with through holes on its mounting flange. It can accommodate a threaded attachment flange as per design B14, with additional options for mounting flange and centering diameter offered for compatibility with differing motors. The motor housing, covered in a black primer, resists acid and rust, and is designed to maintain coating thickness of under 40µm. Ideal for installation up to 1000 meters above sea level, this motor is tailored to suit surface temperature control and free convection applications. Meeting DIN VDE 0530 standards, it has a balance class of N, a power connector on side A, and a 60Nm blocking brake.
