The MDNT42-1 by B & R Automation is a power conversion unit specifically designed for integration into machinery cabinets and industrial control panels. This MIDI form factor device outputs a regulated 24VDC at 20W with a continuous capacity of 0.8A, making it ideal for driving control panel components and I/O modules. Its compact, rack-mounted design maximizes space efficiency with straightforward installation using clip nuts and #6-32 screws on standard MIDI rails. Featuring minimal noise levels of less than 100mV, it ensures compatibility with sensitive electronics. Additionally, dual status LEDs—green for normal operation and red for overloads—enhance remote diagnostics. The MDNT42-1 excels in rugged industrial environments, having been tested for shock, vibration, and temperature fluctuations. For portable applications, optional DIN rails or additional panel retention are recommended to secure the unit during transport.
