MHD093B-058-NP0
The MHD093B-058-NP0 is a servo motor manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the MHD Synchronous Motors series. As a brushless synchronous unit, it converts electrical input from a matched drive into controlled rotation for positioning axes, gantries, and handling modules in industrial automation. It works with digital drive controllers that support rapid acceleration, precise speed changes, and repeatable motion in packaging, printing, and material-transfer systems where stable servo response is important during frequent starts, stops, and direction changes.
At stall the motor delivers a continuous torque of 17.5 Nm, giving machinery steady holding and low-speed drive capability without overheating during constant load operation. Its centering pilot measures 130 mm, so the housing aligns accurately with mating machine frames, and the mounting interface follows a 140 / 150 mm flange pattern for consistent bolt spacing. Rotor motion is monitored by Digital servo feedback (HSF), allowing the controller to read position data for tight velocity control and stable axis correction. Torque is transmitted through a keyed shaft, which helps prevent slip between the motor and attached couplings during rapid reversals and repeated indexing cycles.
The feedback system uses relative position detection, so the axis normally requires a reference run after power-up before full positioning operation begins. Thermal and electrical characteristics are grouped under winding code 058, which helps match the motor with a compatible drive and expected current behavior. For applications that rely on external braking or separate holding devices, the motor is supplied without a holding brake, which reduces end weight while leaving shaft inertia unchanged. There is a shaft seal at the front face, helping limit dust ingress and protect the bearing area when the B-length housing is coupled to gearboxes, belt pulleys, or other driven machine elements.
