The MHD112B-024-PP1-BN is an AC synchronous motor by Bosch Rexroth Indramat, with an impressive degree of protection at IP 65 and a weight of 34kg. Its black-colored housing is designed for surface cooling or natural convection. To prevent unexpected start-ups, it is highly recommended that the drive's power connection is secured with a lockout or emergency stop circuit. Due to potential high surface temperatures during operation, contact with the motor casing should be avoided for at least 10 minutes post-termination. Boasting a flange size of 192mm and a consistent 28Nm torque during standstill, the unit also features an integrated encoder system for precise feedback. At 24VDC +/-10% voltage and 0.71A current, its holding brake can connect in 25ms and disconnect in 50ms. Despite its completely enclosed design for harsh environmental conditions, it should only be used if the machinery housing adheres to appropriate standards. Its encoder data memory simplifies startup, making it ideal for paper and food processing machines.
