Bosch Rexroth Indramat's MHD112B-058-NG1-AN synchronous motor is designed for deployment in handling and automation systems, featuring digital servo feedback through its encoder. The motor should only be installed or operated when in good condition, adhering to the specified environmental conditions and regulations. The motor includes a 22Nm holding brake which operates through an electrically releasing principle. Only manufacturer-approved parts are to be used with the motor. It is critical that the motor's ground wire stays permanently connected. The shaft of the motor comes with a protective plastic sleeve, which should be removed just before use and kept on during storage. The motor should not be damaged during transit and should only be transported and stored horizontally. The optimal ambient temperature range for this product is 0°C to 40°C. Notably, the motor's holding brake has a moment of inertia of 3.6 x 10-4kgm2, and under natural convection cooling mode at 60K, it has a continuous torque of 28Nm and a continuous current of 40.7A. A pressurized, disassembled or opened motor is strictly discouraged.
