Bosch Rexroth Indramat's MHD115A-024-NG1-BA is an industrial synchronous motor designed to operate in sync with the frequency of the input current which is controlled by a drive controller. Desired speed for the motor is set by the operator and actual speed is monitored by an encoder sensor, communicating differences back to the controller for adjustments. The unit possesses a sealed, plain shaft and a holding brake with 70 Nm capacity at 24 Volts DC. It utilizes either natural convection or surface cooling for heat dissipation, with optional fans available for higher load operations. The motor has a power connector on one side of the housing and a centering diameter of 180 millimeters, making it a versatile and resilient piece of industrial equipment.
