The MHD115A-024-NP0-AA is an MHD series synchronous servo motor, engineered by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. Its cooling depends on utilization and load, offering either natural convection or surface cooling options. Natural convection capitalizes on ventilation and cool air flow, whereas surface cooling utilises an accelerated flow rate from a fan or blower. Bosch also furnishes elective fan units for MHD motors, functioning on axial cooling and yielding airflow in a "blowing" direction. When operating with surface cooling, the motor provides a continuous torque of 48 Nm at standstill and a continuous current of 32.6 Amps. When using natural convection, it can yield up to 36.5 Nm continuous torque and 25 Amps continuous current at standstill. Additional features include a shaft with key and sealing ring, digital servo feedback support, and power connector on side A.
