The MKD025A-144-GG0-UN servo motor, manufactured by Bosch Rexroth, features an optional holding brake for clamping the motor's axis while the machine is stationary. The holding brake operates through electrical release, with 24 VDC voltage applied for brake release, and utilizes a magnetic force for closing the brake when the motor is de-energized. This permanent magnet motor boasts a brushless design for maintenance-free operation and offers high operational reliability, IP 65 degree of protection, and overload protection. It is commonly used in automation and handling, packaging and food-processing machines, as well as printing and paper-processing machines. The motor's electrical connections, available in power and encoder connectors, can be set up via a plug-in connector or connection box. An air-seal connector (sold separately) can be used to prevent liquid and lubricant penetration into the motor's electrical components while managing overpressure in the motor shafts.
