The MKD071B-035-KP1-KN Synchronous Motor, produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat, is designed specifically for use with machining, robotics, and packaging applications. It features a brushless, permanent magnet design and boasts an IP65 protection degree, making it a robust choice for industrial use. It comes in two naturally cooled variants with rated torques of 5.2Nm and 7.5Nm, and two surface cooled variants with rated torques of 10.2Nm, all running at a characteristic speed of 2,500 RPM with maximum speeds up to 4,500 RPM. The motor weighs 8.8 kg for easy installation and can operate in any ambient temperature from 0oC-40oC. It uses an integrated resolver feedback for accurate drive controller feedback and features a 5Nm holding brake on the driveshaft for stability when the motor is unpowered.
