The Rexroth Bosch Group, with over 200 years of experience, has developed the new MKD090B-035-KP1-KN Synchronous Motors. The motors are designed for driving applications, constructed from premium materials and capable of sustaining power at high speeds. The model integrates natural and surface cooling techniques to boost proficiency. The continuous torque at standstill ranges from 12.0-18.0 Nm while the constant current varies from 11.0 to 16.5 A for both cooling types. The peak current for both systems is 49.5 A with a torque constant of 1.22 Nm/A and a voltage constant of 111 V/1000 min-1. Rotor inertia is at 43.0 x 10-4 Kg/m2 while the motor weighs 14.0 Kg. Regardless of the cooling method, the thermal time constant is 1 mm2 and 60 min while the maximum speed is 5000 min-1. It has a protection rating of IP65 and insulation class F per DIN VDE 0530 part 1.
