The MSK071E-0450-FN-M1-BG0-NNAN is a synchronous servomotor created by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. Its distinct ability to operate in explosive environments, such as Zone 2 and Zone 22 atmospheres, is made possible by its liquid cooling system. A keyless output shaft minimizes the risk of damage due to liquid intrusion. However, it must be installed in accordance with manufacturer instructions and operated by trained personnel using a drive controller. Additional sensors and actuators may be required for effective control and monitoring. The motor operates at an ambient temperature between 0 and 40°C and should never exceed a surface temperature of 155°C in operation. Care should be taken to prevent liquid spills from posing a slip hazard. The motor also features an encoder for absolute and indirect position recording, but does not have an integrated holding brake.
