The MSK100A-0450-NN-S1-AP0-NNNN is a versatile, compact synchronous servo motor from the MSK series by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. Ideal for applications like metal forming, robotics, machine tools, and paper processing, this servo motor is also flexible for unconventional uses. It houses two temperature monitoring systems to avoid thermal overload damage, including a KTY84 thermal sensor in the stator windings. Its integrated single-turn encoder delivers high system accuracy of ±80 angular seconds, providing high-quality precision. The encoder also eliminates the need for an extra incremental encoder. This servo motor is designed with a sealed, robust housing suitable for harsh conditions, making it dustproof, touch-proof, and resistant to water, consequently carrying an Ingress Protection rating of IP 65. Operating at a maximum speed of 6,000 RPM, the unit has four pole pairs and an output shaft with a keyway for form-fitting torque. It operates ideally in temperatures between 0 to 40°C, with a relative air humidity up to 95%, and should be installed below 1,000m sea level.
