The Bosch Rexroth Indramat MSK100A-0450-NN-S1-BP1-NNNN is a compact servo motor with high torque density characteristic of the MSK series. It incorporates a single-turn Hiperface encoder, using an optical measurement technique, which precisely detects the position within one motor rotation to a system accuracy of ±80 angular seconds. This motor notably reduces the risk of thermal overload through its two separate temperature-monitoring systems. Cooled by natural convection, the motor disperses heat to the surrounding air and walls of its casing. A firm shaft-hub connection is guaranteed through an output shaft with DIN 6885-1 compliant keyway. The motor operates to a maximum speed of 6,000 RPM with four pole pairs and is IP 65 certified per EN 60529 standards, indicating resistance to poor environmental conditions. Its varnish is chemical-resistant, withstanding exposure to diluted acids, alkaline solutions, mineral oils, sewage, and water.
