The MSK100B-0400-NN-S1-AP0-NNNN is a synchronous servomotor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. It does not feature a holding brake and it is discouraged to pair it with drive controllers from other manufacturers. Its housing tolerates a maximum temperature of 155°C and is subject to discharge current if the grounding connector is not linked. After replacement, it requires a compliance test. The motor housing is not fully sealed to accommodate temperature variations and it encounters radial and axial forces when operating. It utilizes circular connectors for power and encoder connections and experiences a torque decrease when transmissions are added. It also features an output shaft balanced with a full key and a lifelong greased shaft seal. Despite being UL Listed and CSA Certified, it is not suitable for explosive environments and is prohibited to add any varnish layer to the housing. With an IP 65 protection degree, this motor can be installed either upwards or downwards vertically.
