The MSK100C-0300-NN-M2-AP0-RNNN is a high-performance synchronous servo motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. The servo motor pairs with a drive controller, connected via a separate power cable and feedback cable. The motor uses a multiturn optical encoder with an EnDat 2.1 interface, responsible for measuring and relaying speed, torque, and position data to the controller. Designed for natural convection, the motor can also utilize surface cooling for increased torque and current output, though this also necessitates an additional cooling fan. The motor is designed to operate optimally between 0-40 degrees Celsius and altitudes of 0-1000 meters. Notably, it doesn't include a holding brake, which is available separately. The motor's housing provides increased concentricity and run-out, and features an IP65 protection rating. The weight of the motor is 45.1 kilograms. Bosch recommends programming the controller prior to use and insists on professional installation to avoid errors.
