The MSK100C-0450-NN-S1-LP2-NNNN is a digital servo motor from Bosch Rexroth Indramat's MSK synchronous motor series. This motor is designed to sync its shaft speed with the frequency of the input current. The servo controller, which needs programming before the system is commissioned, controls the motor's speed, torque, and position with data from the motor sensor or encoder. The servo motor is equipped with added features like a holding brake that operates on the electrical-release mechanism, offering 70 Nm of holding torque to prevent unwanted shaft movement. It also has an integrated single-turn optical encoder and a keyway-enhanced shaft with a shaft seal. With an IP65 rating, this motor is well-protected against dust and water projection. It works with natural convection or surface cooling, with the latter providing higher torque and output levels, depending on the load requirements.
