They function as either main spindle motors or servo drives. This specific model, the MSK101C, includes a multi-turn absolute encoder system with 2048 increments operating through a Hiperface interface. Known for its compact design, high dynamics, and high torque density, it's compatible with Rexroth Indramat servo drives and has an electrically-released holding brake with 70 Nm of holding torque. Other features are a keyway-locked output shaft and a sealing ring that provides isolation.
