The MSK101D-0300-FN-S1-LP0-NNNN is a state-of-the-art servo motor developed by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. This compact and efficient motor is part of the IndraDyn S series and is characterized by its high torque density and precision encoder systems. With a four pole pairs rotor and a 0.00932 kgm2 moment of inertia, the motor includes an absolute single-turn encoder with a Hiperface interface that stores vital motor parameters for rapid startup. Notably, the encoder utilizes an optical measurement method for absolute indirect position recording within a single mechanical motor rotation and surpasses the need for separate incremental encoders with a system accuracy of ±80 angular seconds. The motor, rated IP 65 as per EN 60529, repels dust and water jets from every angle. Furthermore, it is equipped with a KTY84 thermal sensor and an independent temperature monitoring system for thermal overload protection. The motor has a shaft sealing ring to guard against oils and fluids infiltrating via the shaft. With liquid cooling facilitating heat dissipation, it can manage extreme loads and clock a bearing lifetime of 30,000 operating hours within safety limits.
