The MTS-R01.2-M2-B1-FW produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat is a durable, compact module that is part of a CNC controller unit, also consisting of SPS and NC modules. It features three extra locations (U1, U2, and U3) for optional use with serial, PROFIBUS-DP, or INTERBUS interfaces. Installed in an RMB02.2 rack, which is mounted in a protective control cabinet, it requires a single slot. The module is equipped with a rechargeable battery with up to 10 years of lifespan in ambient conditions and must be in operation to charge, usually requiring 50 hours for a full charge. In case of dormant periods longer than six months, it may lose retentive data and user programs. The MTS-R01.2-M2-B1-FW can be installed adjacent to other modules and should be securely tightened using screws. Designed for the RECO unit, featuring an INTERBUS-S master module, and in SPS mode with a coprocessor, it has a maximum heat loss of 12.6W, current consumption of 450mA, and operates in an 18-28VDC voltage range, with a nominal supply of 24VDC.
