The MX2000-2A by Kollmorgen is a highly efficient programmable motion controller perfect for high-precision industrial machines. This versatile unit can pair with intelligent or dumb operator interfaces, and can operate as an independent system without needing an operator terminal or host computer. The device offers numerous inputs and outputs, capable of controlling machines via axis or expansion I/O. For additional convenience, it features two serial ports on the DSP card, which can function as RS232 and RS485, a digital I/O port and an auxiliary port for serial device communication during program execution. A stepper interface with standard signals compatible with drives up to 50,000 pulses per revolution is also included. The controller, which can run up to 7 concurrent programs, can be easily programmed in user units, made possible by its vast range of math functions including Boolean logic, simple to complex motions, and trigger motions.
