The IDC NEXTSTEP-SYST01 is a microstepping drive designed for use with 2-phase hybrid permanent magnet motors, offering highly precise control. It operates with an AC input power of 90 to 120 Volts, 50/60 Hertz and a maximum draw of 7.9 Amps and 500 VA. Its motor current ranges from 0 to 7.9 Amps, folding back to 6 Amps when idle. Utilizing an auto-adjusting current loop, it optimizes the performance of any stepper motor within an inductance range of 2 to 60 millihenry. Its nominal DC bus voltage sits at 160 Volts. The unit features in-built safeguards like short-circuit protection, under-voltage prevention, and overtemperature monitoring, making it highly reliable and safe to use.
