Kollmorgen's NEXTSTEP-SYSTO3 is a single-axis drive, measuring 5.4 x 5.4 x 2.5 inches with a maximum operating temperature of 122°F at a 6 Amps setting. Its storage temperature ranges from -40 to 176°F and is suitable to operate in an ambient relative humidity of 0 to 90%. Useful LED features indicate steps and direction received as well as instances of over-voltage, thermal shutdown, under voltage, interlock, regen, and short circuit. The device will automatically shutdown given certain conditions involving short circuits, heatsink temperature, input voltage drops and broken interlock connections. It operates at a switching frequency of 20 kilohertz, draws a maximum input power of 500 VA at 7.9 Amps and works within an input rating of 90 to 120 Volts AC. With output current ranging from 0 to 7.9 Amps, the NEXTSTEP-SYSTO3 is tailored for use with 2-phase motors featuring a hybrid permanent magnet.
