The OC950-504-01 positioning option card is a standard single-axis motion control card produced by Pacific Scientific. Ideal for medium to large volume OEM applications, it provides medium power and is compatible with 3-phase brushless permanent magnet motors. The OC950-504-01 card comes with various state-of-the-art features such as all-digital control, DSP based control current loops, and preset software application and system parameters. Notably, its auto-tuning feature ensures predictable and easy set up, while the advanced sinusoidal current control maintains uniform control dynamics at different shaft speeds. The part also includes a patented digital (DRDC) converter for advanced digital resolver, providing a standard 5.3 minute absolute accuracy and a 24-bit position resolution. It has a modular construction and features a removable option card for easy configuration. Additionally, it supports an RS-232/485 serial interface and comes with a single-axis programmable position. It also utilizes the SERCOS fiber optic interface for multi-axis applications.
