The Okuma OSP-700B, an operator panel designed for the Okuma Cadet Mate Vertical Machining Center, should be used cautiously even with its in-built safety measures. The panel's optimal operational conditions are in a temperature range of 62.2 to 77 degrees Fahrenheit with a maximum of 75% non-condensing humidity, and shielded from direct sunlight and excessive vibrations. Electrical wiring should be handled by a certified technician. The panel should be powered independently, from a source not shared with noise-generating electrical machines. With a CRT, function keys, and a full keypad, the unit is also equipped with an identification label. Improper use of the machine could cause serious injuries. All safety and installation instructions provided in the manual must be strictly adhered to in order to prevent equipment damage and potential harm. Only adequately trained personnel are authorized to install, operate, and maintain the OSP-700B operator panel.
